03/01/12(Thu)16:28 No.62173861>>62173429 >>62173495 The
British government. All it took was a quick psychiatric examination
(okay maybe not "quick"), took a few months of seeing a psychiatrist
before they set up an examination which only took a few hours to
complete and to bluff my way into seeming very autistic, and with that
label down on paperwork it was a simple matter of applying for DLA
(Disability Living Allowance) and ESA (Employment and Support
Allowance). Doesn't really matter what I do, as long as I don't get
myself a job or move out of the country I'm pretty much guaranteed that
money for the foreseeable future. Ideally you'd want to be diagnosed
with it before turning 18 like what I did, but it shouldn't make much of
a difference if you're already older than that besides maybe taking a
short while longer to sign up for the support allowances.
Bluffing
the test is actually easier than it seems, just act incredibly socially
awkward and ask them to be more specific when asking you
questions/telling you to do things, avoid eye contact at all costs,
mumbling helps, and obviously doing poorly on some of the tasks that
they give you will make the diagnosis more believable. Once you're
getting the benefits though, don't go around drinking and partying
around the neighborhood or making a ruckus that would bring people's
attention to you, otherwise you'd end up having to pay back the money
they gave you (or possibly be charged with benefit fraud). Shouldn't be a
problem there for /a/ though, still something worth mentioning since
some people are just stupid about these things. |
