best friend, solid grades, and a loving family that is actually
involved in their lives. However, this all changes when he meets her.
She
takes him places he's never been, she inspires him to go to places he's
never known, she makes him laugh, cry, and all the in between. The
story alternates viewpoints. One week, we see it from the MC's, the next
from the girl's. And after a while, she leaves. She doesn't even say
good bye.
Now, the audience will be left wondering "What the
fuck?" He takes it hard at first, but decides to better himself instead
of moping after her. He reconnects with his best friend, makes more,
makes even better marks, and becomes an overall great guy. Years later,
however, after he's done with University, he spots her. She's as radiant
as ever, large smile, and sweet voice. He runs to her, not willing to
let her out of his sight again. He manages to catch her. She responds
with surprise at first, and then they begin to talk.
She explains
why she left so suddenly. She got an amazing opportunity at another
country, and was too afraid to say goodbye to everyone. At this point,
he sees that she, although remorseful, had hurt him pretty badly because
of that mistake. He decides to have some self-respect.
After
talking a bit, she asks to stay in communication with him. He agrees,
and they part ways. However, as he turns to leave, he hesitates. He
continues though, knowing that even though she was amazing and had
inspired him to do so much, he still had a long way to go, as did she. |
