So I have a problem here. I alt-tabbed out of a game a couple days ago (the Hoard demo on Steam) and changed my screen resolution and now whenever I run a full screen application at a resolution lower than my screen's (1080p), it doesn't stretch to my screen size, but rather displays "letterboxed" in the middle of the screen.

I've tried installing and reinstalling my graphics card (HD5400 Mobile) drivers and even reinstalling the demo and trying to reverse my actions, but nothing worked. I heard there was an option in the Catalyst Control Center, but that will not run for me. There doesn't seem to be an executable in the program folder no matter how many times or versions I try to install.

Anybody know what I can do? I would be impossibly grateful

If you really seek some place that's not filled with this, go to a regular anime forum. It's well regulated, which is what you're looking for.

You also happen to be looking for a good community, but it's unfortunate that good communities (not /a/, if it is one that makes so many shit threads) are not the ones here, so it is pointless to try to make other people migrate. You should just find a new and better community if you think the one making all these "shit threads" is bad.

It's a scale thing, any board with 4chan /a/'s high post rate will inevitably decrease in quality somewhat. There are plenty of smaller, quieter chans around (see overchan), visit some randomly until you find one you like.
