12/29/11(Thu)07:07 No.59081861>>59081698 That
Yotsuba thread got banned because that was a no-win situation for the
mods; if they let an obvious invitation to a metathread go unmolested,
then that would be like saying "hey everyone, feel free to meta the SHIT
out of whatever you want as long as it starts with Yotsuba". On the
other hand, if they deleted it, that would be seen as fairly
hypocritical in light of the mods saying that they don't delete Yotsuba
threads. There was no good end for that, and naturally people started
spamming Yotsuba everywhere. Which, of course, was called out by the
mods because all of the threads were formed around the lines "mods suck
cock; we're having a Yotsuba thread.". Which, of course is a bannable
offense under global rule #8. The whole thing has been a clusterfuck. |
