>accel spam would never have come here if /jp/ wasn't made. No,
my point is that Touhou hijacks, one of the main reasons why people
were arguing in favour of /jp/, were just replaced by another kind of
cancer.
>The more likely scenario is we'd just be drowning in even more shit. No, the board has hardly changed.
I
remember people telling me that now that /jp/ was split golden times
were ahead where people would only discuss mature anime for mature
people like themselves, there'd be less off topic, and even space for
obscure manga.
Well, we see how well that worked right here.
You can't enforce discussion to something people don't want to discuss and for which where is nothing to discuss about.
If
there were thousands of /a/nons out there only waiting to finally get a
chance to discuss the ending of Cowboy Bebop out there, they'd be
already discussing it.
Imagine we b& contemporary games on /v/, would that make /v/ more eager to discuss flight sims with me?
No,
it wouldn't, because the people who want to discuss flight sims simply
aren't there. They're a minority, and if we created a board for them,
the board would be slow and boring and people would stop browsing,
because the pace is part of what makes this board fun.
We discuss
contemporary anime here mostly, if you don't like contemporary anime,
then I guess /a/ is not the place for you to be. |
