few of those are REALLY REALLY popular, we just don't talk about them
on /a/ that much. Anime in general has enough attention that it doesn't
qualify as a hipster activity. Unless you're watching it "ironically"
and not because you actually like anime.
What hipsters do like
are things that nobody has heard about it. Like shitty unknown Indy
bands that only has a few hundred fans. It makes them feel like they are
in a special little club with exclusive access. Though the OP might be
doing this, but only with things /a/ doesn't talk about. That would make
the OP very fucking stupid. Cus he doesn't know that his exclusive
little club actually has a massive following. |
