I only open 4chan when I want to post a thread.
Any other time, it's the catalog

Just threads. One click expands a column with the picture and text and a double click would take you to the thread.

I only go to the front page to see what page threads are on or to start a new thread. The catalog is objectively more efficient.

Browsing 4chan using the catalog is browsing on CRACK. The amount of f5ing I did before catalog was amazing, but the amount of tabs I have open using catalog is crazy.

I still browse the front page.
I like to see who's posting in what threads.

Catalog is a nice way to browse 4chan.
It takes too long to refresh though.

It's harder to tell which threads are active in the catalog. I may find a thread that I like, but it's pointless if no one is posting.

I would use the catalog every day back when we had daily Strike Witches threads, though.
