Man, I want a TTGL reboot, improved in every way, if that's possible. Redesigns, new mecha, new plot points, glorious 1080p animation, altered settings, deeper storylines, many more inspirational speeches, even more over-the-top battles, fanservice, new characters, more comedy, more intense music, sort of like an alternate retelling of Gurren Lagann. You know, something like that one manga where the humans live in Teppelin, and Simon sees a crack in the sky, except the story isn't shit. I really liked the Gakuen-hen manga, which surprised me, considering Gurren Lagann and high school should never go together. It wasn't as good as the anime, but I enjoyed the comedy and Nia's love for Simon. Also, having Kamina interact with Nia was cool. And then there's Double K, which is an awesome fan strip. I can just imagine the badassery of Kamina with his katana and Kittan with his shotgun walking in slow motion while awesome music plays while they're in the middle of a gang war. I just don't have my fill of TTGL, yet.

Yeah I felt the same way. After the ending though I felt nothing, but it sunk in a few days later. I found my self searching for all related media the existed. I enjoyed the spin-off manga solely because I could see them together again. The first time I watched Gurren Lagann, I watched 1-9 in English, and the rest in Japanese. Switching to Japanese was easy, but switching back to English (on subsequent watchings) was harder. Jamieson Price is the shit. Underrated actor. He's getting more prominent rolls though. Mainly in vidya. He did the MK announcer and Noob Saibot in the new MK game. A less prominent but fun roll is that he does the unit voice of the Zealot in SC2. I watched a lot of spanish subs, english subs and the dubbed version. Also i know a little of japanase.

The dubs are very well acted, that is great and not seen very often. I do think the subs are better anyways, cuz the usa dub tones down a few things to make it fit better with the american culture. Like in the last episode when the team says that they will crush any established order, the dubs say something a little softer, i dont quite remember.

I really, and I mean really don't get why people even have to compare the dub to the sub. Their so inherently different that it's just silly and furthermore why the whole sub vs dub shit is silly.
