The problem with this, and the reason moot will never make it happen, is as soon as people know that 4chan's in the market for banners, every single idiot with a copy of paint is going to make some stupid shit and send it to him. I've seen hundreds of banners and less than 1% of them are good enough/notable enough to be usable.

This "let's scrape together every retarded piece of shit everyone posts" thing is NOT gonna cut it, we're never gonna get new banners out of that clusterfuck.
