    So /a/ I'm watching Star Driver after a friend's recommendation and it's kinda....

    I was expecting balls to the wall FABULOUSNESS and awesome shit, but it's just kinda...boring. The fight scenes at the end of the episodes are fine enough on their own, but the earlier parts are kinda bland

    I've seen 6 episodes so far. When does it get the ball rolling?

    I haven't seen Star Driver but this reminds me of Gurren Lagann.
    I was told it would be balls to the wall manly.
    It was just boring and the fights weren't interesting either.

    sadly I have to agree, I just couldn't really get into this. I know it's from the same camp of directors as Utena and all that but it just felt a bit too style over substancey for me, and somehow wasn't able to pull it off the way TTGL did.

    Frankly, episodes 6/7ish were the best.
