Yeah they are

It doesn't really matter where you start since they don't continue on from each other and those two are both fully subbed and personally my two favourite seasons.

SplashStar is probably a better representation of the series as a whole though since it borrows a fair bit from the first season which you should also watch.

It's more experimental than anything. It doesn't approach big budget quality animation such as that of Gurren-Lagann and K-ON.

It can be very hit or miss, Heartcatch was probably the best example. Suite is a weaker season because it's the 35th super sentai anniversary and Toei is pumping in more money into that. There are also multiple production teams and dozens of animators. But animation is very high in general especially compared to other children's shows or Toei's other works like One Piece (which practically represents the utter bottom of the barrel when it comes to animation quality)

Kawamura is so superior to everyone else it isn't funny. The episodes of Splash Star that she supervised also stand out from the rest (although SS seemed to have more consistent animation than any other Precure series for some reason)

So far, Fresh is the only one I'm pretty sure I'll skip. The only thing about it that jumps out at me is Passion's costume design. I'll figure out if I want to watch Suite after I get through original, Max Heart, and Splash Star.

Suite has certainly been very average, it's improved over the season but unless something amazing happens soon it'll be a forgettable season compared to other Precure seasons.

It sucks that she didn't have the endurance to use Forte Wave. Still, she threw 2 generals around like they were garbage. Bricks were shat like heart seeds that episode where they cleansed like 50 elementary schoolers.
