I don't get why people "hated" on the episode. Because it didn't have FORCED DRAMA? P-san apologized for failing to understand Miki's feelings and for the being hard on her since she is just a 15-year-old girl; Miki apologized to P-san and everyone else for failing to do their job. What else could have happened? This was the only logical, non-forced resolution. P-san getting run over would have been too convenient and Miki deflecting would have been too dumb on her part.

What I want to see happen:
The performace is advertised as a Ryuuguu Komachi event, with sighns and flowers everywhere. Now, what if RK doesn't show up to the event, but the other 9 girls are there? they have one big song, then they have a few smaller groups and solos come out and perform to take up the time. It gets the other girls more exposure and some potential Ryuuguu Komachi drama when they show up just as the event ends.

Kotori is a predator, silently stalking her prey from the shadows. The other girls do their best to shine the brightest and be at the forefront of the action, thinking that they'll score point with Producer by being in the spotlight, but Kotori knows that lonely OL moe is the strongest moe and the occasional token appearance is all she needs to carry the day. So for the time being she lets the other girls have their fun, patiently waiting for the right time to strike.

Having Miki leave 765 Pro in the anime would have been extremely out of character because she has already forged bonds with the 765 Pro girls.

b) Awakened Miki so soon would have been pretty stupid. Awakened Miki worked in the games because P-san had an already developed relationship with P-san when it happened. This episode began that relationship, but it isn't nearly well-developed enough to make Awakened Miki work.

What I get is that the show took the sensible, logical way out of the problem but people somehow expected it to be dumb.

My mistake, then. I have only played Haruka's route in Perfect Sun and Miki was barely in it. The TRANSLATED short prequel stories they released for the game made me think that the girls joined 765 after Miki left.

The only game where Miki leaves 765 Pro is Missing Moon. In Perfect Sun and Wandering Star, she's a member of 765 throughout the whole game. All 3 games take place in different universes.

Just because the group is called "Project Fairy" doesn't mean that they always have to work together. Because of PSP limitations, they all work individually against the player. They work together in the Eternal Prism drama CDs.
