    Black Lagoon and Blade of the Immortal were kind of like this. But the romance eventually kicked in in both.

    Monster fits that description somewhat as well. Although it's a bit of a stretch to call Anna an MC.

    So yeah, if the plot is good and the characters are interesting, I'd watch the shit out of a show like that. I avoid moe and fanservice anyway and romance isn't a necessity either.

    Romantically driven plots aren't the only type of plots which can exist.
    Moe in the most common form of usage, as characters intended to be cute, are not necessary to tell a story either. See the entire noir genre, where you'd be hard pressed to find a "moe" character.
    Fanservice as it exists now is hardly necessary for a show to be enjoyable, it's a bonus in most anime and one that could easily be removed from most shows not of the ecchi/hentai genre.
