The
art, VAs, dialogue and music are what really define slice of life,
which is why each slice of life show feels different from the next, some
of them incredibly so.
I'd liken it to people who know their
beer vs people who don't. People who don't really know much about beer
say it's all the same/all tastes the same, when obviously the thousands
of extremely unique microbrews out there beg to differ.
So, it's
no surprise that pissants from /co/, who simply don't know much of
anything about slice of life anime, generalize it as all the same... so
when they get a warm, flat, Bud Light quality imitation of a slice of
life, they think they can compare it to a Chimay like Hidamari Sketch
and try to defend their worthless opinions by talking out their asses
when we call bullshit. |
