High School in U.S.. I was in French class. I remember the teacher turning on the TV to show us, and then turning it off like 5 minutes later because some parents were calling to make sure their kids weren't watching. What the fuck? It was history on fucking TV, and peoples parents were like "no you're not allowed to see history." Just be ready to read it in a history book a few years from now, WHEN we decide it's ok for you to watch it.

High school for fucks sake. Middle school I MIGHT see, elementary school FINE, but HS? Cmon. 50% of the school could be fighting in the resulting war in just TWO YEARS (IF that), and they can't watch a couple buildings fall down?

    > When the September 11th attacks occurred, the series was almost over (there were only six episodes left). Immediately following the attacks, Cartoon Network and many other stations, began pulling war-themed content and violent programming as well. However, the series finale were shown as part of Toonami's "New Year's Eve-il" special on December 31, 2001. It is sometimes stated that MSG was cancelled "because" of the September 11, 2001 attacks. This was verified by a Toonami producer in a March 4, 2002 interview with Anime News Network.

Get real. It's probably because he's ugly.
When you're handsome it's practically impossible to be alone.

I was in school at the time.
I live in NY and saw the damn thing from my classroom. My teacher was shocked as the rest of us was just wondering what was going on.
Then i was walked home by my father who was covered in soot. My father worked right next to the damn building. had the tower somehow fell over, he would have died...

I got into anime in 2007...
But if I actually did watch anime back then it probably wouldn't have affected me. It's funny how American's keep treating 9/11 as if it's the worst thing that ever happened. Since that day at least 10 catastrophes with a lot more casualties have happened. As usual America doesn't give a shit unless they are the victims.

I actually remember that day pretty well.I was about 12 and I was watching sailor moon (I was deeply in love with Tuxedo Mask at the time). It was interrupted and I was fucking pissed off like never before.( tuxedo mask was probably on the screen, I don't know). Then my father said something that could be translated to english like: "oh, fuck yea!" . And then we all watched and cheered like: "fall you tower! yaay!". It was considered family fun. My father really hates usa. But then later, sailor moon continued and it was all good. It was a fun day.
