The the term moe was never meant to serve as an implied insult or general disagreement! Why people started using it that way is beyond me. There are plenty of reasons why one would choose to use the term moe with shwos that aren't considered "moe style". Natsume Yuujinchou is one of the most interesting and well conceputalized shows of all time. It's incredibly sad, has brilliant characters, fantastic music and art and very clever humour.

Haruhi is overall just a wonder of gripping and creative story and that signature humour that comes from a very exuberant main character, and other signature personalities that are quite memorable. Thinking Haruhi is bad is basically like saying that Robinson Crusoe is a shitty novel.

I might only speak for myself when I say this, but what you're doing is absolutely useless when it comes to me. I know Nichijou has flaws. Some jokes aren't funny. Some are too long. Some are tasteless.
I still find them humorous. I like Nichijou because it's funny, has a captivating art style, and god tier animations and music. The characters evolve about as much as you'd expect from sketch comedy. The show isn't trying to be a deep anime to move nations and build bridges.
