I ignored Toradora when it was airing because it just seemed like another cliché (Kugumiya Rie) tsundere romance/comedy.

After the numerous and lengthy threads and /a/ and other discussion sites that I visited, I'd like to say that I looked past my petty stubborn-ness and watched it. However, I was an idiot, and I just ignored it instead.

Last week, my friend convinced me to watch it. I watched episodes 1-7 on the first day, and I was pretty interested. The next day, I watched 8-25 in one sitting.

Toradora is pretty much a chick flick in animu form so of course it's popular here considering that more than half of the population here is probably still in high school.

That being said, I find it to be a pretty OK-ish watch so long you have the right mindset. I'm sure if I were 10 years younger when I watched it, I would have enjoyed Toradora a lot more. Ami rocks anyway.
