Well, I don't know what just happened or what the problem was, as most every picture in the thread was from anime or art/fanart of anime, but whatever.

The ending may have been a bit disappointing (in my personal opinion), but as far as powerlines went, Ano Hana had a few nice ones.

Now, SHAFT are a fairly big contender in the powerlines department.
I'm not even kidding when I say nearly every anime I've watched by them has had a disproportionately large number of these scenes when compared to most other studios.

And then you get scenes like this, which are even more well-drawn than a number of scenes involving the main characters. I don't know how this even happens, but it does.

They tend to run everything on the poles, unlike in the United States where a lot of stuff is buried. Power? Phone? Cable TV? Fiber optics? Yeah, its on the poles.

There was a blog post I saw a while back where a guy ordered fiber optic internet and took a photos of the install process when the fiber splicers showed up.

Grab the DVDrip from nyaa, there are English subs on it.

There's a subbed .iso up on Nyaa at least, not sure if anyone's bothered encoding it into .mkv or .avi or something yet though.

Just use something like Daemon tools to mount the .iso then play it on MPC-HC, that's what I did at least.
