ANYWAY: I haven't really enjoyed any "moe slice of life" anime as much as this before - episode 1 was great! really fun execution with the whole documentary thing mixed with really expressive and charming character art and animation. I think everyone should give this show a shot before dismissing it (and trust me I totally understand your reasons for dismissing it).

The difference is that Soviet propaganda positioned them as the saviours of humanity, pushing forth into a new way of life free of dogma and following reason, freedom, solidarity and democracy.

Nazis, on the other hand, had a for more antagonistic philosophy, which positioned them as the sole legitimate rulers of the world, pushing forth into a new era of mysticism, authoritarianism, separatism/supremacy and dictatorship.

Both employed propaganda, but the Soviet propaganda has a wider appeal than the Nazis propaganda.

To be fair, the majority of the world operated under the free market, so it wouldn't be a surprise if more deaths resulted from it. For an honest comparison you'd need take into account the per capita deaths, difference in living standards, etc.
