How many seasons and episodes does the ZKC anime has? That pic in the OP is from the anime right? I read about the anime being in 2nd season in chapters 200+.

If they got to middle school in 2 seasons, that's a lot of manga that they skipped.

I haven't seen any threads for it in months. But really, is there much to discuss? The story doesn't seem to know how to focus, but that may just be my opinion. Throughout the first half it's great--just really fun to read overall. But the last few volumes have been pretty lackluster and all over the place. The last arc I truly enjoyed was when Minamoto and Sakaki were stranded in Africa.

Also just who's the antagonist for this series now? Hyoubu seems to have kind of stepped down from the position, Black Phantom is out with Yuri out, and now there's this new guy who came out of nowhere.

The manga has been shit for a while now due to the extended focus on Kaoru over the other girls and the fact that they changed her personality.

What do you mean like who? I just mean the adult characters in general, they're a lot more fun to watch than the girls or their classmates in my opinion. Minamoto, Sakaki, the chief, Hyoubu, Fujiko, etc... They're just a lot more quirky while the younger characters just all seem hormonal.

Not by a mile. Before it was a hilariously entertaining romp and now it's just too sullen like all the fun from the first half was sucked dry and replaced with melodrama with Kaoru as center stage, I did enjoy the last arc because it didn't focus on Kaoru but on Aoi and Bullet

Minamoto is not an esper at all in the main story, all the other characters constantly remark he's a normal. They do have machines to override the ECMs, though.
