I actually read both comic and manga, I always thought it would be interesting to have unusual crossovers.

Putting the character in circumstances that is different from their native environment and see how specific archetype interact.

Although personality wise comic rather writer dependent, so its more about the idea of a comic character and how they would interact with a character from the anime/manga side.

Not necessarily about powers though, but rather "this would be fun, if that happens" sort of thing.

Although to be honest I have been scale waaay back on my media consumption on all fronts recently.

How was Blackest Night. The last DC storyline I read was Sinestro Corp War. I liked it, but comics are expensive and I stopped reading them altogether soon after that.
