It seems that anon has forgotten how to post, or that the generals have bred a new generations of posters who never learned how to post properly.

"Keep it to one thread" means refresh a few times and post in a thread that already exists if you see one. If you don't, make a new one.
This basic rule was (mostly) understood around here until people starting building their general dynasties.

The anime was pretty good at what it was, wasn't too ambititous and the ending was surprisingly heaven-piercing. The fanbase was quiet but powerful, and nigh untrollable.
Madoka was more ambitious, but fucked up at what it was and all that remains is yuri in space and BUT THE WINGS and THEN WHO WAS WALPURGIS. The fanbase is too broad and contains a lot of faggots - to the point that there are actually dozens of people present who get mad over an anime, which isn't really mature.

Even if Madoka would be called THE BEST EVER by whatever authority there is to judge such things there is not a single reason that it should be universally loved.

It's called taste. Everyone has one. Everyone's is a bit / very different.
