Not only did they pretty much turn shit around in Western Europe and do all of the fighting in the Pacific Theater, they supplied all of the Allies, including the USSR, with weapons, tanks, food, clothes, planes, etc. You could argue that American industry had a greater impact on the war in Europe than American boots on the ground did.
