    I just finished marathoning the first 12 eps of Star Driver.

    Why are the Glittering Crux such an awful villian organization? They just keep throwing henchmen at the Tauburn and he defeats each on in under 5 minutes. And what is their motive? World domination? Economic disruption? Divine power by the maidens?

    They're like a Cirque Du Solie branch that got jealous of their competitors and turned into a cult.

    Because they aren't 'villians' in this anime..more like students leading a double life. They want to fulfill their own individual wishes using the power of the Cybodies when zero time is unrestricted, which you will learn more about in the next 10 episodes.

    Even Takuto doesn't seem them individually as villians, he sees the 'organization' as a whole as his opponent. in the end its only about him protection the maiden, wako.
