Their basic information is, like characters images and such, but the files are incredibly small and are little more beyond the things needed to show them on the select screen.

The same is true of Platinum as well.

This is in MvC3 too - Jill and Shuma's date is on the disc, but it's only character images etc - not the character files themselves.

This is NOT like SC4, where every piece of DLC was on the disc in full, and you were just paying to unlock them.
