First, it's a great figure, and a re-do of the older one. It's slightly nicer, and comes with a heap more accessories. Plus it also has the new articulation seen in the HMO Miku nendoroid. It comes with earmuffs, a scarf, a snowman and a Miku ice-making silicone tray (lol).
Now, onto why you should buy it. If you buy it through a middleman, do it SOON!!!! Winter Wonderfest is in one day, and most preorder slots will be gone, so you'll end up paying more than I did ($70 AUD). However, it's okay, because if WF exclusives are anything to go buy, as well as the performance of the last Yuki Miku, in a year or so, it easily doubles in value. You could find scalpers selling them on eBay for $120 to $200. So even if you want to keep it because it's adorable, you're still making a decent investment.

So yes, you're getting a great figure.

The original Miku nendoroid is the most bootlegged nendo ever. As a result, the bootleg is actually rather good. Sure, it doesn't have that faint grainy texture of quality that comes with the real deal, but if you buy it as a listed bootleg, they can go for very cheap. It comes with all the parts, etc, and is not a bad figure. When I look real close, you can tell that there is some sloppiness in the paint app, but on the one I own, (because I do own one!), I was pretty pleased with the quality. Only complaint is that the joints are a tad loose.

Because the original Yuki Miku was the same mould as the regular one, the bootleggers made a lot of bootleg Yuki nendo's as well, and it's not bad either. Check a photo at: http://myfigurecollection.net/picture/87959&ref=figure:26113
To casual inspection, and the casual collector, it's not bad. If you can grab it as a listed bootleg on ebay, and therefore really cheap, you'll be fine.

I mean, here's a great example. That box is practically the same as the real deal. There are a few font changes and a bit of difference in some border widths, but for the most part it's a spitting image. For some bizarre reason, these were made with more quality than the regular fake.

Nendoroid Snow Miku, a Wonderfest Exclusive. It's a redesign of Hatsune Miku, the Vocaloid. Basically, the original character is a singer. See: http://vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/Miku_Hatsune for more.

It's a nendoroid, which is essentially a superdeformed poseable figure of the character. It's roughly 10cm tall. Nendoroids are manufactured by Good Smile Company, which are rather reliable and make really cool stuff.

I explain how to go about getting the real deal earlier in the thread, which will set you back up to $100. If that's not your thing, later in the thread I explained how to get a fake of the figure, which can be as cheap as $10, yet have surprisingly decent quality.
