It's some plantronics headset that is held together by tape. Microphone no longer works and the sound only works if you keep it tilted just right.

But I usually just blast anime through my speakers.

I'm not much of an audiophile, but I have a Sennheiser HD 280 pro. I bought it when it came out.

I guess compared to today's standards, it's not as hot as it used to be. That being said, it's still a hell of a headphone and gets the job done.

I just bought some cheap Logitech speakers that, due to a temporal warp in reality therefore inverting luck, got really good sound quality from them.

Headphones are for truly horrible sound. Even cheapest speakers are able to produce sound of much better quality.

I also bought these before the HD201s from Woot too. One of the ears got disconnected from the headpiece and so it just floats in the air.

Weakness in design? My first pair of e2c the ear loop cracked in 6month i learnt my lesson. Now i straighten the wires and wipe off excess oils to prevent the cables from hardening and breaking.

Average performance? Audio is all dependent on the listener, to me it has good highs and mids, a bit weak on the bass i guess, but i can deal with it.

I have a pair of big sennheiser 215HD DJ monitors, but I ended up duct taping them to my desk because the cable was annoying me.

Since I watch animu on my laptop in bed, I use my slightly-less-expensive sennheiser earbuds for that.

Bought on Black Friday for gaming. Have good depth of sound and great quality so they are good for watching anime without having to use speakers.

Only bad this is that after 7-8 hours they start to hurt your ears a lot.

A few things to note about the Mio headphones.

These bumps on the underside actually CAN hurt the top of your head a bit if you use them for +8 hours. I initially read about this in forums but shrugged it off as sensitive audiophile faggotry, but it's true story ;_;
Readjusting them back and forth a bit can help. (depends on the size of your hear too I guess)

Then the cans, they sit very tight to your head. If you position them wrong, your ears get hurt too. You have to position them so they don't squeeze your ear.
