Alright, /a/. Let me explain to you why this show is so good.It's not because it has cute girls talking about anime, or because it's "/a/ the anime". I don't give a flying fuck about that. What makes this show so interesting is the social commentary.We see the life of the japanese otaku and the reactions of the people around them. We see the intransigent father, the stupid friend who's brainwashed by the media, etc. Remember the fifth episode. Had you ever seen an anime that actually criticises the japanese media for exaggerating things and manipulating information? Nope.Especially the latest episode, which apparently was not based on the novel, which means that the studio came up with it. Think about it. An anime studio that has the balls to criticise its own industry. Fuck yes.Also, Kuroneko is one of the most adorable characters in anime history. Lately, I can't think of anything else than spending time with her, kissing her in the cheek, whispering sweet nothings to her ear, and debating about our favourite shows. If she was real, she'd probably be fat and ugly, but I would still fuck her.TL;DR: Oreimo has great social commentary and Kuroneko is cute.Best show of the season right here.
