Well, both are from Garth Ennis, so maybe you should look into more of his work. Assuming that it was the war themes, then you might like 'Battlefields'; I've only read one of those, but I liked it.

If you like this and you DON'T like Cape comics, then you should check 'The 'Boys'. Ennis hates capes (he only likes Superman and that's for what he represents). Along with Darick Robertson (the artist of this comic) he made 'The Boys' which is basically a big FUCK YOU for all cape comics. DC actually dropped it because it was hitting too close to home. Dynamite picked up happily, it's really popular.
