420 is the second largest/fastest English imageboard as far as I'm aware, sure they have a fuck ton of topics, but as yet they don't match the speed and it does feel like a far more civil place although half of the boards are technically /b/+random drug attached to it. They have active mods that do their fucking job, simple things like public banned are a fucking god send if the thread doesn't turn into (user was banned + reaction image), to do it properly everyone should be banned in that thread, keep this up for a week and you would see drastic changes.

Sure you can argue that 'no fun allowed' etc but trying to keep the board on topic or at least lowering the shit posting and eliminating get, double, blog etc threads is really needed. As I've said many times even in this thread. /a/ needs dedicated mods who would adhere to the rules and a set mindset. More public banning of shit posting and EVERYONE in the thread who comments. Eventually people will learn not to shit post (get, blog, blatant troll/bait/copypasta, etc) and at the same time remove the added shitstorm that accompanies these things, with time no one will post in those threads and the bans should decrease due to the fact that people would behave themselves, you can't act like this on standard forums so why come here and do this when we really do want to discuss things.
