>Yes,
I got that. Thank you. But the problem is still people are not looking
at things very objectively. They are being subjective "I like this show,
so it must be good!" is not objective in the least.
The
word 'moe' is a colloquialism; everyone has their own definition. There
is no global ethos, and no single person has a monopoly on what it
means; its definition is entirely subjective. (My god do I sound like a
broken record).
Even if 'moe' were in the dictionary, it
would be right next to 'beauty' -- based entirely on tastes and
preferences. I can sort of relate to what you're saying about people who
analyze less than you, and then try to put themselves on the same
pedestal. However, at the end of the day, no one has a monopoly on
objectivity. You need to get over it.
Also, I realize you were talking about anime, and not just moe, however I believe I covered that already.
