    What happened in the real world was that she failed and Kyrie/Rudolf hijacked the whole thing but it's irrelevant, it's just one of the possibilty of the catbox.

    The mystery of Umineko that needed to be solved, and was by Will, Clair/Yasu was shown as the culprit and episode 1-4 were solved using her as the culprit.
