10/29/10(Fri)11:07 No.41842991Sure its annoying when people bash the current norm you're comfortable with.
But most telling is the overly hostile defense mechanisms and skewed mentalities displayed by this arrogant younger generation.
The
accusation of "nostalgia fag" is not only an admission of your
inexperienced youth, but is also a tell-tale earmark of the contempt of
your self-important generation for anything that existed before your
awareness.
Rather than acknowledging your preference for Anime is
the result of the era in which you were introduced to it, you either
argue feverishly that anime hasn't changed at all over the past 50 years
(i.e. moe has been around forever) or that its currently better than
its ever been (i.e. higher number of shows produced obviously = better
shows).
If only you could just say, "I like the way things are,
that's me, sucks to be you", it's be one thing, but no, you need the
validation of being right.
There's nothing wrong with liking
K-On. But you don't like it, you obsess it. It's become the fucking
focal point of anime for you. The hub from which all other anime is
discussed. A watered down derivative of Lucky Star is now your Jesus
Christ of Anime. |
