I wonder when will we see a new macross
Hope that within the 2 next years, frontier really left a desire for more.

Hopefully something not "another Xty years in the future". I'd like to see OTHER bits of the Great Expansion within the previous timeframe between Frontier and the original series.

Also, god what I wouldn't give to see Do You Remember Love? turned into a proper full length double-feature so they can cover the whole events running from the Zentraedi invasion right through Space War One with THOSE VISUALS

I don't like what they did to the story, but that was the best CGI I've seen in anime. Also, it had plenty of Sheryl so I can't really complain.

I thought the movie was rather flat in comparison with the series. Out of all Macross, I like F and Plus best.

Fucking amazing, I was expecting it to be 50% copypasta'd animation from the series and a clusterfuck of the first 20 episodes or some shit, but luckily it was completely different and they pretty much changed (and improved) the entire plot to make it fit movie format, which fixed the pacing issues of the TV series and OH GOD DAT FUCKING DETAILED ANIMATION AND CHOREOGRAPHY

Everything was amazing, except the ending, which was kind of sudden and like "THE BATTLE IS OVER, THANKS ALTO - END" but then again i guess it's meant to be watched back to back with the second film.

Eh. Personally, I think Plus and the movie pretty much tied for pinnacle of awesome. Frontier, great, but I actually preferred Zero.
