As far as my general appearance goes, I have really coarse almost black hair and I wear glasses, and I can't really do anything about that (I dyed my hair red a few times but it makes no difference). Because of the meds I take, I get acne breakouts every so often but I try my best to take care of my skin and I wear makeup when I go out. I observe basic hygiene practices

All of my clothes are either thrifted or vintage. I like unique patterns and vivid colors (pic related, from my wardrobe), though I also wear a lot of earth tones. I have a really varied wardrobe and I don't really dress in the same style every day. At work of course I have to wear boring shit

The only nerdy articles of clothing I own are a shirt with Lupin's face on it a friend sent me from Italy, and a 1" Haro pin that I sometimes wear on my bag, that's about it. I really don't make a lot of effort to conceal or express my interest in anime because I genuinely do not give a fuck.

I don't talk to people about anime unless it comes up in conversation or they ask me about it. Though my husband is also a huge anime fan and he's actually more extroverted and has more friends than I do, and he talks about anime openly with anybody. In the last city we lived in, he knew practically everyone, he worked late nights in the most popular late night hangout and got to know a lot of people, but he had no problem talking about Gundam if he could find a way to work it into conversations. Yet he was incredibly popular with everyone because he has a lot of charisma and knows how to get along with people. So it's not really necessary to "hide your power level" if you have the right personality
