When it comes to hiding the power-level, I am a huge enthusiast. There are only 2 friends that know I watch anime, and one of them just assumes that I'm a mainstream/big 3 fag, to which he doesn't really find abnormal.

Trench coats are nice, especially for harsher cold climates like where I live.
In Minnesota it can drop to -20 degrees Fahrenheit on any given day, so having a coat that goes down below your waist, and also covers your neck is a huge advantage to the cold.
It's also all one piece, instead of having a coat, scarf, and snow pants that can get uncomfortable. If you have to adjust one of those items, you risk getting snow inside of your clothing because you had to adjust it.

It's fine as long as you're not a tool. I can talk about it to a degree where people see what I see in it, to an extent, but you've gotta gauge your audience, and I actually have other interests and some social skills.
