    Currently I'm marathoning The Slayers. I'm on episode six of the original series. It seems like the first few episodes are introducing me to the main chracters of the anime and it's going great so far.

    What should I expect?

    Excessive magical firepower, frequent comic relief, occasional epic battles with pure evil. Oh, and eating at restaurants.

    The second half of the original Slayers gets a bit repetitive with fighting the same enemies over and over again each episode for a stretch.
