This is great, not only has it cut down on spam it has cut down on shit posts and people going out of their way to sage a thread they don't like. I would be happy if this was to become permanent. Though I still like the idea of making it something you only need to do for your first 20-50 posts with a new IP better.

Also someone needs to whip up a script in greasemonkey that auto copy/pastes the verification code from the top box to the bottom one.
