Is it weird that the last thing I would like in this is Vocaloid music? I never found Vocaloid music to be a good background to an animated piece as it tends to 'stand out', and if they're changing around voices for the characters then they'd just as well do away with the synthesized vocals and let Ryo compose pure instrumentals.

There was no delay. The site said that they would start a BRS commercial campaign the 25.06.2010, one guy claimed that it was gonna stream that day, and everybody else bought into it because nobody could read what the news actually said.

Well if you absolutely can't get used to the voices, don't worry about it. Half of the appeal of vocaloid songs in my opinion is that there are so many covers for most of the songs. If you like the song but can't stand the vocaloid being used in it, it's worth a shot to search for a cover of the song.
