you could skip episodes 25+26 and go straight to End of Eva, I do recommend you watch them atleast once though.

anime has the weird, "wow okay" kind of ending that's terribly anticlamatic, deep trenched in philisophical exposition that will likely go over your head, but it's technically the "good" ending

movie "end of evangelion" (don't bother with death and rebirth" has the "bad" ending. but basically the same shit happens.

watch the anime first, watch the movie after. movie covers episode 25 and 26 if remember correctly.

There is no good ending. Both endings are the same thing, but the TV end takes place in Shinji's mind and End of Evangelion shows what brought Shinji's mind into that state. Watch the TV end first, be extremely confused, then watch EoE.

No. The TV end is the exact same thing as End of Evangelion. It's just that the TV end ends with Shinji's decision to be able to love himself - in other words, not to join humanity in committing suicide and reverting to LCL - and End of Eva keeps going past that point to show the real-world repercussions of that decision. Shinji even refers to the CONGRATULATIONS scene in End of Eva, albeit a little obliquely.
