The longer I was on /a/ the less weaboo I became.

I used to wear shirts with kanji/ kata on them and I was learning Japanese, I wanted to move to Japan and date Japanese chicks.

Now I watch maybe 5 hours of anime every month and I stop in on /a/ to see how shitty the genre has become these days.

Yea, I never did that. I did want to learn Nip and move to Nipland marry me a nip girl. Then the longer I was on /a/ the more I realised that Moonland is a lot worse than America.

I think a lot of it just has to do with growing up. Although you do see them, there are a lot fewer fully-grown otakus/NEETs. Once your parents kick you out you have to get a job if you want to live, and you naturally begin to accept that you are not yellow and that you won't ever get to fuck hot Japanese girls.
