It's not about 'disliking' it, it's about the use of the threads.

These are supposed to be drawfag threads but the posts are never actual drawings 98% of the time.

I'm just saying it's no surprise these threads are getting more angry and more trolls now when it's constantly on the frontpage with NOTHING but the same requests being copy pasted 200 times.

These threads worked when the drawfags started them. Because then you knew there would be results, and it was the drawfag's thread. He's choosing to draw for people, and makes that choice known to anons, so some fun can be had by all.

That one weekend there just happened to be a few drawfags on /a/ at the same time, and some productivity came out of it.

But here, 56 threads later, the drawfags aren't exactly involved. It's just a bunch of people saying OOH DO THIS! DO THIS! DON'T DO HIS REQUEST, DO MINE! but there aren't that many drawfags around or they are actually discouraged by the torrent of requests. OP is a "Rar Fag", not a drawfag. It just results in the requests churning away, and then being reposted in the next thread, like an act of desperation for it to not be swallowed up by the other requests. But is anyone even looking?

I don't know, when /jp/ has the OC/request threads they were a lot less spammy (i know, slower board and all that, but still) and I think PART of that is because they weren't every single day all day, constantly there on the front page.

It was every few days or so, and even then sure you'd get the same requests over and over - but look at this thread and the past 62. Almost 90% of the posts aren't "the same requests as before" but literally copy pasted same EXACT request as say the past 100 posts before theirs.

It's just spam at this point, not requests.

Hell, the first few replies in this thread were wall of text copy-paste shit and after that the same replies being spammed over and over and over.

If a drawfag is going to draw your request, they WILL see it if you post it ONCE per thread. There's no reason to keep reposting it every time the flood warning lets you.

And i think having a few days breaks between threads would at least give drawfags time to you know - draw. These threads now have pretty much NOBODY who draws in them - out of the 63 threads so far probably only 15 of them have had actual drawfags in them who are able to take and do requests. There's no reason for the rest as no one but the spammers are reading their own spammy requests.
