Friday is good for rare items and check out the entire dealer's room. Make a mental note of where things are, buy what you absolutely must have. But before you buy anything, check everywhere, some booths may have the same item cheaper. Anywhere from a dollar to 20, or more.

Saturday is better for panels or other activities.

Sunday is good for shopping cleanup and making deals when the con is about to end.

Pizza places may deliver to the convention center, call them and find out. That was a brilliant move. Food at centers is always a rip off, no exceptions.

Shower.
Have about 3 times as much spending money as the admission cost (I.E, if admission is $60, $180 to $200 is the least you can have on you for food, merch and the like).
ASK before you take pictures. Most cosplayers are really willing to show off, but be ready for the one or two that don't want that sort of attention (for whatever fucking reason, given they're still in cosplay).
Be sure to keep some free time, but don't let it be your entire schedule. I'd say 2/3 events/panels, 1/3 fuck-around-in-the-arcade-or-dealer's-hall-or-whatever time.
EAT. SLEEP. Humans can only stay awake for so long, and being well rested and fed makes things much more enjoyable.
