The thing with fighting games is that the first one you learn is gonna take a LOOOOOOOONG time to get used to. You just need to be patient and keep playing. I lost my 300 some BB matches, but you just have to keep trying.

BlazBlue is really damn beginner friendly compared to Guilty Gear. There are resources online (namely dustloop. You don't have to actually post or anything and you can ignore the community which a lot of people dislike. There's a PC leak of the arcade version out there that works beautifully if you want to search for it. There might be compatibility problems with your hardware though. It'll either work or it won't, but it can be worth a download. You can only go through Arcade mode but it'd be worth it if you want to get some practice in.

In CS Hakumen is incredible. He's sped up a bunch, he has some really nice pokes, and he got a couple more tools to work with. In CT he's supposedly bad but that never stopped me from mopping the floor with everyone online with him.
In CT he suffers from a lack of good pokes and approaches and overall slowness but has m-m-mondo damage and pretty solid defense.
In CS the problems he has are fixed but he does slightly less damage with some of his attacks, specifically the second hit of 41236C.

ABCD should be self explanatory, it's in the manual. But just because, A is weak, B is medium, C is strong, and D is Drive/ the Do Something Cool button. If you're on a PS3 and you didn't fiddle with the controls, A = Square, B = Triangle, C = Circle, D = X.
The numbers are pretty simple. Look at the numpad on your keyboard. That's what they are, assuming your character is facing right/on the player one side. Forward would be 6, back would be 4, neutral is 5, etc.

Arakune is the easiest of top tier chars to begin with on CT, and you'll learn mixups while you keep playing (and winning) against people who have their level similar compared to yours.
