= a deconstruction of the harem genre NGE = a deconstruction of the
mecha genre
...well, let's stop trying to troll people. I did
like Bakemonogatari, because the characters were actually written as
real as possible. This is what a harem could be, not "lol, I fell for
you for no explainable reason, even as you are absolutely bland" as it
usually is (there are enough exceptions luckily). I like the talking (I
am loving Yojouhan in the moment for example), and as for the
animation... there may not be much of it, but at least every random
screenshot can work perfectly as a wallpaper. Besides this... the
characters are late bloomers, and I can relate to them... and they are
smarter than the usual anime idiots. Also, I like SHAFT's art style.
Personal preference, you know. Overall, it certainly is different from
the usual anime, for good or bad... This doesn't make it a masterpiece
or must-see or anything, there is no point people who expect something
more than talking to watch it. |
