They know a little bit about my weeaboo-ness, but don't realize the extreme extent it actually goes to. As a result they sort of think of it as an interesting quirk of mine.

OP here. I made IRL college friends, but I'm afraid to invite them over. I have figures and posters, just not as bad as the ones you see in otaku threads.

My cousins got me into it, although their power levels have dropped as of lately. My parents know but they don't seem to care; they just don't get it. My girlfriend (3DPDZOMG I know) is exactly the same as me... but she doesn't know about my lolicon or vast supply of hentai. Actually, nobody does.

My parents know I watch anime, but they equate anime with stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Gundam, Speed Racer, Astroboy etc. in other words, shit I'm not really embarrassed to watch in front of family or stuff that they grew up watching. If they were to go on my computer and see my 20 gigs of anime photos of cutesy, moe girls, and some of the other moe shows I watch and all my hentai... I probably wouldn't be too embarrassed actually, but it's something I'd rather avoid.

They know. My dad finds some of the stuff cute, my mom likes to sit down and watch with me. As a university student, I'm quite unsettled by their lack of 'concern for my future'.

They know I'm an anime fan and a weeaboo, it's hard to conceal since I went to Tokyo last year and I go to conventions. I hide my actual powerlevel though, I never talk about anime, never reference any shows, and if anyone brings it up I sit and listen politely.

As far as things go, my power level is on display for all who care, which in this country means practically nobody. Parents know, siblings know, everyone knows, but DA WAY OF LIFE makes them extremely reluctant to delve deeper. Shit doesn't have to be hidden, it hides itself.

When I was younger, my parents watched anime with me. Now I watch it on my laptop around them all the time and the most I get is "Don't you have any headphones?"

My close friends know. It varies from friends that are deeper into it than I am, on the same level, or completely unaware. I don't make friends with the typical narutobleachonepiece weeaboos.

Considering that my other high powerlevel friends are female, it makes it easier. My boyfriend is usually accusing me of liking women and whatnot because I love moeshit so much, but he casually watches himself. Most of what he knows, he knows from me.

People I haven't know for years will generally not find out that I'm a weeaboo.

Yes, everyone knows about my power levels. It goes like. my brother is just as heavy torrent leecher as I am. My sister torrents too but I think she goes bit more selectively. Our mother watches some series, mostly based on recommendation and having liked similar shows. Our father mostly doesn't care and hasn't watched much, but has commented that some have had "interesting concepts" such as Miyazaki's stuff. Also, we're all old enough to have moved out of the basement. Well not really basement since we lived on the sixth floor, but you get the idea.
