So people are chosen to enter a race (or have to find a way in on their own) to find a way to get out of the city and bring back supplies. Stylistically/aesthetically steampunk type of place, with lots of werewolves, mummies and vampires... stuff that reminds you of old B movies (No aliens) and an ye olden/semi sepia tone/ grainy color scheme/environment. Story told like Baccano's through lots of different events and characters except not out of chronological order. Much longer than Baccano as well.

GARmers defending the farm from baddies with gardening/farming tools, jumping and running around, cutting werewolves in half with shovels and shears and clippers and what not.
