I don't know of any anime that was outright canceled and didn't air past episode one.

There's been cutting down the number of episodes and Bebop originally only aired like the first 13 episodes and moved to a satalight station. but I think that was more for the content of the series.

Maybe if they stopped picking A-1 Pictures to animate and produce the shows, they wouldn't suck so much shit.

1. NoitaminA aired for a couple of years now. The comparison isn't fair.
2. Producing a veriety of original anime should be encouraged, not deterred. Mind you, I'm not talking about specific shows, but about the concept of Anime no Chikara.
3. Bleach is an utter pile of violated shit. The very first episode from Senko no Night Raid had more storytelling merit than an entire year of Bleach's publication.

That's what happens when the first two shows you air are questionable and lack distinct appeal. Both Sora no Woto (moe girls in military) and Night Raid (Japanese X-Men in 1930s China) have inherently flawed concepts, and A-1 Pictures has failed to establish a coherent viewerbase. The very first show NoitaminA aired was Honey & Clover, and they were aiming for college/working-class women. THAT'S the sort of show you use to anchor a timeslot, not Sora no Woto.
