I felt it was a great movie with an awesome message. While I love that, it tends to limit the people I can show it to and that saddens me. I saw it, loved it, and then decided to show it to a group of friends who I had expressed interest in animu. They yawned their way through it because of the lack of teenage drama and went back to watching Fruits Basket.

I no longer hang out with that group of friends.

Even throughout the whole thing, with all of the allusions to Riding Hood, I didn't get it until the end, which was awesome, really.

It is a good movie with terrible pacing, over all he up'ed his game in the ghost in the shell.

Another part of the film I liked was it dealt with some political commentary of the times.

In the beginning of the film the narrator gave a reason why there was so much unrest: It's due to a economic policy that promoted growth at the expense of the public welfare.
