They were not equal. TTGL threads went into a frenzy whenever a new episode was about to be released/airing and browsing 2ch for pictures/after release. Lucky Star threads were only on level with TTGL threads the rest of the week.

As for Heroman vs. Angel Beats, dunno as we won't be able to tell till a few episodes in. If either one can pull it off, it won't be about K-on as girls doing cute things can't be talked about as much as actual plot. BMG was already popular with /a/. But gorespammer killed the show by literally reducing the amount of genuine threads to ZERO, for months on end. If I remember correctly, both TTGL and Lucky Star aired over the weekend. TTGL threads were more numerous which was especially obvious at the end when there was nothing else. At the start, it may have been even though I think that was a lie since there were plenty of threads even at the cross counter part which was pretty early on. As for which title was sage bombed? Pretty sure they were both even there though due to the amount of TTGL threads, it was probably a higher proportion of LS ones. The more I think back about this, the more sure I am.

As a reference, I also do remember the what was posted most about Lucky Star at the first episode - the chocolate cornet part.
